I worked to capture a still evening on the marsh as the sun has just dropped below the horizon line, leaving a golden glow in the air and on the water. I hope the viewer gets a sense of peace viewing “Gilded Eve”. This painting is purposefully left unframed and has a substantial depth, with the painting continuing around the edges for a more contemporary feel.
