Sunday on St. Simons

A cloudy, stormy day on the beach in St Simons Island. I am drawn to the mood that this sort of day brings. Oftentimes the best time to paint for me. I loved the purplish gray blue and low clouds near the horizon line, contrasting with the water’s more golden hue near the foreground, with a hint of clouds reflecting.
